Bougainvillea Planters

I planted two of these oversized pots on either side of my garage yesterday. Here's the breakdown...
$50 pots
$6 pebbles
$14 trellises
$9 coleus & dusty miller
$24 bougainvillea
$20 potting soil

$123 total

(not bad for the impact it made to the front yard)

  1. Other than some flowers given to my daughter I haven't fooled with any frost tender perennials for lack of space in my greenhouse.

    But this year I am determined to build a larger one and bougainvilla and hibiscus are going to be the two first that I pot up.

  2. This is a beautiful arrangement (or two) you made for your front yard, of bouganvilla, dusty miller, and coleus....how are they doing now? The colors together are striking!!!
