Today, I swapped out the green plastic hanging planters for two adorable, coconut lined planters. I planted some marigolds (tagetes sp.), dahlberg daisy (dyssodia tenuiloba)
, dusty miller, and a big cutting of orange mint. The planters weigh a lot...I'd say 20 lbs. when wet. We'll see how they do. I'll be interested in checking out how they hold up to the next big wind, then they daily rain in July/August. The green was just matching the white mailbox and the white trim of my house.
