Trip to Botanical Gardens

I checked out Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens yesterday. It's a home with a rather large yard that has been converted into a public garden. They sell plants and pottery. I enjoyed an hour or so there and the volunteers were very nice. I was thinking about submitting the butterfly photo to their annual photo contest. First place is $100 in plants...sounds good to me.

  1. Most of them love to visit gardens.In the botanical gardens there are ornamental flowers and exotic plants.Winter blues can be driven away with a bright day in the sun.Interesting bark,good branching structure,evergreen foliage and vibrant winter berries are a few things we can expect to see.

  2. It IS a great butterfly shot! I always think about entering such things and never do it! You totally should! Just think, $100 worth of plants, or river stones to make a path, or lanterns for your garden beds, or a nice bit of statuary, or a few new tools. The possibilities are endless!!
