During a break in the rain yesterday, I ventured outside to check on the garden and found the peach tree (which I'm OCD about these days) had fallen over. I propped it back up and all was well. I lost a few smaller plants that snapped in half, and John spent three hours cleaning out the pool.
Im glad your peach tree wasn't damaged. I love how green your grass is. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteDid you have the tree 'staked?' Don't forget how strong winds can be and no matter how sturdy a tree seems (even big 108" box trees or larger) a big gust of wind can really bring them down. I've seen trees that weren't staked or guy wired come down on parked cars and even on a house once... those are hard lessons learned!
