I think these plants are just one of the most beautiful plants that South Florida has to offer. It just doesn't stop blooming. The scent smells just like hand soap and fills the backyard each night. Angel’s Trumpets are in the Solanaceae family, therefore it’s in the same family that petunias, tomatoes and potatoes. But it's deadly if ingested, so don't try it. All these new leaves will be maturing to 1-2 feet in length.
I love angel trumpets.I have 2 in my yard...but I am worried that they may not have made it through the winter. I just planted them in August. We shall see. Glad you are back ;)

I am hoping that you will contact me and tell me how you went about propagating from cuttings. I have just received some cuttings and actually saw my first Angel Trumpet in about 2 days ago. I just have to have one. I would like any and all advice you can give. You can email me at candy777ty@yahoo.com
Candy-I literally cut off a foot long section of a stuardy branch and stick it in the ground. It's THAT simple. I would stick it somewhere in partial shade and take off 80% of the foliage. Also take off all the flowers. During these first few weeks, the plant needs to work hard on producing roots...not foilage or flowers. Hope this helps!
