The Garden Feels When Summer's End is Near
The garden just knows when fall is approaching. The aloe is sending up baby plants like crazy. The first peach blossoms have arrived. The orchids are sending out roots from all over. The miracle fruit plant just put out a second crop of a half dozen berries. I transplanted the balckberries over to where the blueberries are...hopefully they will do better here.

I just wanted to tell you a great tip for the strawberry pot. If you take a 1" pvc pipe and cut it just 2" shorter than the pot then drill very small holes in it and plant it 2" from the bottom in the center of your pot you have a water/fertilizer delivery system that keeps all roots equally moist. Wonderful blog.
Danielle, I just purchased a Sunshine Blue blueberry. How is yours doing? I live on the Treasure Coast in zone 9B...looking forward to some blueberries!!!
Fantastic article...I often read your blog and am always impressed
