Hi Danielle, It is really hard to believe you had this much damage where you are! I'm so sorry for you. Is that a Chinese Fan Palm? I ask because I am researching palms that are cold hardy for a new planting bed I'm putting in. I plan on using at least one Chinese Fan. UNLESS... you tell me that's what that one is. :-) Meems
